Personnel traveling to Baja may either drive or fly. If rush-hour traffic is avoided, driving from Los Angeles to Baja Studios takes approximately three hours. For information on what to expect at the border and on items that can be brought into México, see section on Crossing the Border. Depending on the traffic and the wait at the border, the drive time from the San Diego Airport to Baja Studios is approximately 35-55 minutes.
At the present time, those flying in from anywhere in the U.S. needs to fly into San Diego, as there are no direct flights to Tijuana from the U.S. Those arriving in San Diego are generally met by production drivers or rent cars at the airport from one of the rental companies that allow their vehicles to be driven into México.
